EPDM Flat Roofs:

Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire

Our EPDM roofing uses an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane and is widely used all over the world, in the past 10-15 years, it has made its way over to the UK because it performs so well in our unpredictable weather conditions. It has two primary ingredients – ethylene and propylene – these are derived from oil and natural gas.

We know that all of this may seem like a little too scientific to some of our customers which is why we make sure that take the time to tell you everything before the work starts – we go through it all, so that you have all of the correct information that you need.  You will know exactly what we will be doing to your roof when installing your new EPDM roofing system.

EPDM roofing is usually available in one seamless sheet, cut to size to your roof. It comes in black whilst being sold in a broad variety of widths and thicknesses. EPDM flat roofing can be installed either fully adhered (glued), mechanically attached (screwed) or ballasted (weighed down with pebbles), with any seams of the EPDM roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape. This process is very specialised and should only be carried out by fully trained Firestone approved contractors.
